Tourmaline Specimen

Tourmaline is regarded as one of the most chemically complex gemstones and often reffered to as the “garbage gem” by Gemologists, however its not an insult its a compliment on how complex they are as if you just took a bunch of minerals and through them into a bin which can also interchange! It belongs to the triagonal crystal system growing in these hexagonal elongated cylinders, almost look like a Harry Potter wand!

Tourmaline comes in a bunch of different colors but is most prized for its multicolored stones meaning more then one color exist in one stone like the hald pink half greens called watermelons! The rarest and most expensive Tourmaline is called Paraiba ,named after where it was found Paraiba, Brazil and is a intense mint green-blue that is unmistakable
