Pyromorphite Specimen
Pyromorphite is a lead based mineral related to Apatite. Its formed when Gelena undergoes weathering and breaks down and Pyromorphite grows from it! It comes in vibrant colors of green, yellow, brown, and white with most common being green which gets its color from copper impurities. It grows in the hexagonal crystal system making these really interesting hexagonal prisms that kind of look like a bunch of jolly rancher candies! Although its technically a toxic mineral so best not ingest! Its generally considered safe to handle due to its low solubility but its a good practice to wash your hands after touching if you do
