Pyrite Specimen

Also known as Fools Gold, pyrite is a crystal with a metallic luster so although it looks like a metal it is a crystal. It belongs to the cubic crystal system growing in repeating perfect cubes. It is one of the craziest things to dig pyrite out of the ground looking like a block of brass someone cut but it just grows like that! Pyrite is often an inclusion in other gems as well commonly found inside stones like Emerald
