Emerald

Emeralds are a type of Beryl, the same as gems like Aquamarine and Morganite. Chromium and vanadium are the primary impurities that gives Emeralds their notorious green color. Emeralds are in the hexagonal crystal system forming elongated hexagons and sometimes minerals like carbon or albite get caught inside and the Emerald grows around it forming a star like pattern called trapiche, which are highly desirable and primarily found in Columbia
