Dioptase Specimen

Dioptase looks like Supermans Kryptonite, although is a fictional stone, Dioptase is very real! It can sometimes be a blueish color but is most known for its rich Emerlad green color which comes from the copper its made of forming when copper and silica react under high oxygen environments. It belongs to the trigonal crystal system forming in hexagonal prismatic crystals giving it that clean and organized boxy shape that makes it very attractive to collectors
