Charoite
Charoite is a mezmerizing gem resembling the paintings of Vincent van Gogh. It is a single source gemstone exclusively found near Baikal Lake in Siberia Russia. Charoite is a fibrous mineral that gets its color primarily from the presence of manganese and forms an unmistakable pattern in the cracks of rocks from the flow of hydrothermal vents carrying the minerals necessary to make it. These swirls show the path the water was flowing. This rare complex gem with other minerals mixed in that has very intense rich purples that stand out amongst the rest, a truely unique gem
