Azurite Specimen

Azurite belongs to the monoclinic crystal system and known for its wild royal blue color. It gets its notorious color from copper oxide and can be commonly found on malachite because it actually becomes malachite! As it is exposed to water a chemical reaction occurs overtime and new crystals form in that place side by side and squishes together creating those incredible green bands!
