Aragonite is in the orthorhombic crystal system , simply meaning its crystal structure forms a bunch of rectangles that form like blocks into a hexagonal shape. Aragonite has a habit of twining which is when the crystal forms two or more identical versions of itself in symmetrical patterns, so it ends up looking like a ball of hexagons. its surreal to see in person! Aragonite can be found in a few colors but most notably orange
