Afghanite

Afghanite is a very rare and chemically complicated gem more recently discovered in Afghanistan where its named after. It is very difficult to find clear eye clean gems with most being dense in colors from white, aqua blue, to rich sapphire blues and can exist in multi color and often have inclusions that create beautiful patterns. Afghanite will often fluoresce intense bright colors under ultra violet light due to the presents of Sulfur within the crystal which is also what gives it its unique colors. This gem can be found growing along other crystals like Lapis Lazuli and are incredibly rare
